The Perry County Community Foundation granted $6,000 to Perry County Council on Aging (PCCOA) for the purchase and installation of an audio-video camera system in
each transit vehicle.
PCCOA’s transportation program serves more than 500 clients and provides over 4,000 rides to individuals of all ages throughout the year. In addition, the organization has a senior activities center that provides a safe place for the
socialization of people aged 60 and older. A wide array of fun activities are organized including bingo, cards, games, day trips, and educational programs.
